Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated Finance Business Analyst Intern to support our finance and business teams. You will assist with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, dashboard reporting, and business analysis. This role provides hands-on experience in finance operations, business performance tracking, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, review, and analyse financial and operational data
- Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
- Track budgets, expenses, and revenue trends
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Help maintain KPI dashboards and business reports
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings
- Prepare Excel spreadsheets, charts, dashboards, and presentations
- Work with teams to gather reporting requirements
- Support reconciliation of actual versus planned performance
- Maintain financial models and reporting templates
- Analyse profitability, spending behaviour, and cost patterns
- Generate ad hoc reports for management
- Assist with workflow documentation and process mapping
Skills and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of financial reporting and business analysis
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools
- Familiarity with financial modelling and forecasting
- Experience with data analysis tools is an advantage
